The Tampa Bay chapter of The Hutchinson Bell exists for the following reasons:
1. To promote and support the purposes and goals of Florida College by
(a) Planning and implementing fundraising projects for student scholarships or other worthwhile projects
(b) Encouraging attendance at Florida College activities
(c) Encouraging private financial contributions to the college
2. To raise funds for scholarships to qualifying students in the Tampa Bay area who wish to attend Florida College
3. To provide wholesome entertainment and recreational activities for young people and their families
4. To perpetuate friendships and understanding among alumni and boosters of Florida College in the Tampa Bay area, and to promote and encourage a greater participation by alumni and boosters toward the financial goals of Florida College

Events
The Tampa Bay chapter makes an effort to host exciting events throughout the year to keep alumni and friends connected to the chapter and Florida College. They will host family skate nights at Skateland of Brandon on Monday evenings at 7-10 p.m. throughout summer.
Brandon is located 2.8 miles east of I-75, one block south of Hi-60. Take Hi-60 east from I-75. Go 2.8 miles. Turn right on Kings Ave. Go one block and turn right on West Robertson Street.
